Breast feeding not holding off period :(

So not fair! My period has just started, 9 weeks post birth. Apart from 1 dream feed bottle she is totally breastfed. I was promised no period! Grr! I have such hideous period and endometriosis, was just hoping for a lOnger break.

I was the same - I was gutted!

Only thing that stopped mine was when I started taking Cerazette mini-pill when DS was 10 months old. Haven't had a period for 3 years now, bliss!

Sadly cerazette gave me migraines. No mini pill for me Sad.

I bf till 4 months but got period at 5 weeks post birth. was not amused.

Glad it's not just me then! I have what can only be described as a 'dodgy' set of girlie bits! And that was before pregnancy and birth!

Not looking forward to the return of 16 day long periods with heavy flow and horrible cramps.
Does anyone know if I can take cocodamol whilst BF?

It's the only thing that even touches my period pains.
