DS reluctant to feed on one side - oversupply?

Over the last couple of weeks, I have noticed I am getting engorged/blocked ducts on my left side and I've realised that DS is not as happy feeding this side as the other. Today I noticed that the milk really sprays out when he starts feeding which would explain why he keeps letting go. I express a bit to relieve the pressure, but that is not a long term solution - any ideas? I am really getting sick of the lumps.
