Bright Green Poo - BF baby - what is wrong?!

Hello, My DS (14 weeks) has just done what can only be described as a Neon green poo. He is exclusively BF, has a bit of a cold at the moment. I was shocked. Is this a sign of illness/a breastfeeding problem?
Thank you!

It's quite normal for babies to have green poo when they have an infection (colds, etc). Nothing to worry about Smile

I did quite a lot of searches on MN about this as my DS (now 6months) has pretty much always had bright green poo although he does like to mix it up a bit with yellow sometimes. He's EBF (tho about to start weaning). It seemed like the conclusion was it was within the range of normal and was not an indication of there being a problem with BFing if baby was happy and gaining weight. It could be the sign of intestinal hurry - dealing with the milk quickly - but again didn't seem to be a problem if baby otherwise ok.

I've struck my DS' green poo off my to-worry-about list. Now only another million or so other things to worry about Wink

Thankyou! Back to yellow now. How odd! :)
