My 15 week old DD has been EBF since birth and is gaining weight well etc. Feeding has been going well, on the whole. I feed her on demand, which is at least every 2 hours during the day, although sometimes she'll go for longer stretches if we're out and about.
Over the last 3 weeks or so she has become increasingly fussy when feeding. By "fussy" I mean: head twisting from side to side, tugging quite violently at my nipple, coming off but immediately wanting to latch on again, pushing me away with her hand, kicking legs etc. She seems to want to feed but it's become really uncomfortable for her, if that makes sense. When she has a fussy episode I try to bring her off and wind her and she often has some quite big burps, although not always.
She also brings up milk after feeds fairly regularly and to varying degrees.
I initially thought the fussiness might be due to a growth spurt (i.e. she was getting frustrated at not getting milk fast enough), but as it's been going on for several weeks now, I've kind of ruled this out.
She's like this at most feeds now TBH (although it's less of a problem for the middle of the night feeds). It just feels like something isn't quite right though.
Do you think it could be reflux?
