DS is 12 mo and only has one BF a day now. I wasn't sure that he was particularly bothered by BF anymore until this morning. He finished one side, sat up and said "done............... good.............. ta!". I guess that we'll be carrying on for a while longer Smile

Beautiful Wink and well done for reaching 12 months- that's amazing. I hope I can get to 12 months too. DD is 5 months and I still love it as much as I did when she was one day old Smile

Lovely. My DS is 7 months now and started crawling a few weeks back. I was lying on the rug next to him the other day and heard him squeal with delight when he realised he could pad on over to me and give my top a good yank!

Ahhh lovely!

DD is 20 months and has just started saying "boobie" with a meaningful pat on the boob - I love it Grin

Dd3 (15m) is a huge fan at the moment. She looks down my top and says 'mmmm'

lostinindia · 07/01/2012 22:08

fab vocab for 12mnths!

lindsell · 07/01/2012 22:16

That's lovely, I bf Ds til 18mths but he didn't have the language to express it, but he obviously remembers as he's 2.8 now and I'm pg with dc2 and he always wants to inspect my boobs Hmm and says 'mummy look, for the baby's milk'

Swaliswan · 07/01/2012 22:32

He has two older sisters so I think that he's finding his voice early. He's also made good progress with baby signing so I think that helps.

Ah lovely...we had a nice moment tonight too...I was feeding 21 month old DD at bedtime and was singing "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine you make me..." and she pulled off, smiled and sang "happeeeee" and went back on!!! Too, too cute. I nearly wept :)

HuggyPomBear · 09/01/2012 21:06

I only feed DD at night now and miss the interaction like that! I think I will reintroduce a daytime feed at the weekends again Smile Smile. I like holding a foot and blowing raspberries on it or pretending to bite her hands and shee her look up and grin or giggle...

HuggyPomBear · 09/01/2012 21:07

see not shee...I am not drunk...

pud1 · 09/01/2012 21:13

I fed my dd1 until she was was 2.3 she is now nearly 4. I was in the bath earlier she came in. She look at me so thoughtfully and asked why my boobies didn't work anymore. I told her that it was because she had drunk all the milk to which she replied, " that's a shame mummy because I loved your milk. It's the best".

What a lovely thread!!! Great stories!

Nowhere near as cute but I was holding DD (7 months) at the village New Year's cellebration on Saturday and she started rooting in my top trying to get to a breast!
