Dropping from 3 to 2 bottle feeds- 11 month old

DS is nearly 11 months, and currently has the following FF in a day:

210ml/7ozs when wakes up
120m//4ozs mid afternoon
210ml at bedtime

I was wondering if it's okay to drop the mid-afternoon feed yet? I don't think he NEEDS it IYSWIM (eats plenty of solids, has an afternoon snack, doesn't seem to clamour for it), but was wondering about iron intake if I do drop it? I'm sure i've read that up until 1 year babies need 500-600ml per day for the iron? Is this true?

I know several people with similar aged babies, and they've been on only 2 bottles since 8/9 months. I know all babies are different, but confused about the iron intake thing and if this is correct or not Confused

Can anyone advise? TIA

Up to 12 months they need 500-600ml formula a day (or a iron/vit supplement if they aren't getting that much) but from 12 months they only need 350ml a day cow's milk - so at 11 months I wouldn't worry too much.

both mine were down to 2 feeds by 11 months. You can make up the intake through milk in cereal, in foods, in cooking and other dairy products as they dont need to take the full amount in drink form
