DS no longer interested in feeding when he wakes about 7am....but he still has a 3am-ish feed. He therefore goes 3am til 10.30am without a feed and it would be amazing if that stretch could be at night!! He wakes at 7am ish but not interested in food - he fusses, bobbing on and off breast and then often throws up most of what he took, if anything . Any advice or similar experiences as to how to maybe switch this around so I can get more zzzz? Cheers!

U could try water? Boiled or bottled? Always ask, bound to b one of us with an answer...
I tried this and after a day or too it worked and milk came back in the equation so worth a shot at least....

Could equally be ups time as dd rarely goes past here....

I wouldn't give water at that age unless recommended by a doctor, TBH.

Is there a lot going on at 7am, other siblings getting up etc? He is maybe distracted? Which would make it hard to move the long stretch to nighttime. Do you think he would necessarily sleep the whole time if the long stretch was earlier?

I think lots of babies have a longer stretch at that age, and it is just fluke which feed they drop.

DS1 did something similar - in his case, the 3 stretched later and later, until it became the 7am. Bit of a pain.

DS2 dropped the 10pm, but fed at 2am until 5 months.

If you give a smaller feed at 3am, will he go back to sleep?
