Any private tongue tie clinics in south London?

Hello! To cut a (very) long story short, my DS is now 8 weeks old and is having trouble gaining weight (born 75th centile and now hovering between 0.4/2). After 4 weeks of feeding every 2 hours night and day (uuuurrgh!), doctors appointments and much head scratching he was finally diagnosed with a tongue tie yesterday. Only trouble is the earliest date he can have it snipped is another 4 weeks away on the 19th Jan!! To be honest another 4 weeks of constant feeding and worry just to keep him from loosing weight (probably not gain any) fills me with dread. I'm trying to take one day at a time but have already introduced a bottle of formula in the evenings, and am scared I'll just bottle it (pardon the pun) and give up on BF completely if this goes on much longer. Does anyone know of a private clinic we could have the procedure done quickly preferably in south London? Any help much appreciated. TIA xxx

Mr Sailesh Patel, Paed Surgeon at Kings College. He is excellent. Works part-time at the NHS but has a private clinic.

You could try Ann Dobson, think he does home visits. Sorry cant link from stupid phone but: www.ann-dobson.co.uk

She sorted DS's TT at 5 weeks and was lovely.

Try [[http://www.lcgb.org/consultants_tongue.html#L here] for IBCLCs trained to do TT division. There is on in Croydon amongst others (does that count as S. London?).
