Hi fully intend to bottle feed, what happens after the baby is born? what do i do with my breasts? does the milk just go back into my body if its not being sucked out?

Yes your milk will dry up within a few days. Your boobs might be quite sore while this happens, especially on day 3 or so when the milk comes in. You can alleviate this by expressing a little bit, just enough to relieve the rock hard feeling, by hand into a bowl, sink or cloth or towel. Don't express much (unless you want to give it to your DD) because the more milk is removed, the more you will make.

You can also put savoy cabbage leaves in your bra, and newborn nappies cut in half which have been in the freezer are a good size too. This will relieve the soreness and help the engorgement to go down.
