I have always breastfeed my DD to sleep as up until now it was the only thing that worked, lately she has not really accepted this and bedtimes have being really stressfull for all of us. So tonight I feed her as usual and then her Daddy took over and put her in her cot and rubbed her tummy until she fell asleep - there was no tears, 1 settled baby and a very proud Daddy (DD is usually very much a Mummy's girl). It really made my heart melt Xmas Grin

Envy Please let that happen here soon! That's great Madamej, how old is your DD?

She is 11 months old and although I didn't have a problem with feeding to sleep, it wasn't working for her anymore and I honestly didn't know what I was going to do. I tried doing similar with her last night but I think it just confused her as she would want to feed/not want to feed so if you have someone else around to settle your LO I would recommend it Xmas Wink
