Calling Tiktok, re potential Nut Allergy and Breastfeeding

My 15 month old daughter had what the doctors think was a nut allergic reaction a couple of weeks ago. We ended up in hospital with steroids but she is absolutely fine and no problems with her breathing. Thank goodness.

We will be having her blood tested in another couple of weeks and then we'll know if she has it or not. We have made the house nut free and will continue to until her results come back.

I am assuming that it is safe for me to continue breastfeeding for the duration, as she is still so little. I am guessing I will be told that I should continue to be nut free whilst I nurse but I am just interested....

....can the 'nut allegiant' go into breast milk if the mother consumes it ?

organic, do you know if any research has been done on non-peanut allergens?

DS has had what appears to be an allergic reaction to hazelnuts, although thankfully not serious.

I know some people have been told by their consultant to avoid large quantities of the allergen while bf but not to cut it out completely.
