13 month DD now not sleeping without milk. Am I doing totally the wrong thing?

DD is 13 months. The past week or so she's been waking up between 12.30 and 2 and refusing to go back to sleep until we give her a bottle. She eats very well during the day, and usually has a bottle of milk at about 9.30 / 10 in the morning, and one before bed. Has anyone else had this? I thought we'd be reducing her milk, eventually giving it up by now, not increasing it!

I will pop this in the food topic as well as it's interrelated, but curious to know if it's something I'm doing wrong. Am I not giving her enough food during the day? Should I stop giving her milk in the night as I'm making a rod for my own back? (I HATE that expression, but it goes round and round in my head at 3 in the morning when she's gulping down her bottle as if it's her last meal)

(She has previously been sleeping through the night... apart from when teething. Or ill. Or cold. Or generally being a monkey....)

It'll probably be the 13 month sleep regression: see here and here.

Thanks. Xmas Grin Figured it would be something like that. She's on the verge of walking so I suppose that has something to do with it.

Yes, that will make it worse. The 13 month developmental leap is to do with brain development. A busy brain and a busy body is a bad combination for sleep!
