green poo but only in morning?

hi. ds2 8 weeks and ebf, can anyone shed any light on this? he also seems uncomfortable first thing. he does go for a long gas overnight if that's relevant. thanks

Green poo in a healthy thriving baby is hardly ever anything worth worrying about or doing anything about. All green poo is, is waste that's been eliminated quickly and has not had time in the gut to turn yellow. It's only very rarely the result of something wrong.

Thanks, I've been wondering this for ages too - ebf 15 week old ds and often has green poos, all the hv could come up with was a comment along the lines of 'sometimes if you change formula it can make poos green' Not much help to me!
