Shit think I have flu what can I take?

I'm not one for using the f word but think this might turn out to be flu anyway if if just a bad cold what can I take? I've had 2 paracetomol and still feel shit, am ebf and don't have any stock in tge freezer yet

I don't think there is an awful lot you can take. Ibuprofen if your feeling aches (can be taken as well as paracetamol) lots of fluids, vicks vaporub if your bunged up, try and get lots of rest.

The only cough medicine you can have is sugary water which is pointless IMO. Lemsips are out to but Boots do an own brand version which is just paracetamol/ lemon flavouring.

This sounds awful but if you have childcare, a hot toddy in the bath works for me. Whiskey, hot water, lemon and honey in combination with a hot bath goes straight to your head will knock you out. A unit of alcohol will clear the bloodstream in about an hour.

Thanks will take a look. Dh has taken dd with him to collect a sling I won on eBay so should have about 45 mins of peace if I keep ds fed and sleepy.

If you're bunged up, then nasal strips are great. Superdrug own brand are about half the price of the branded ones.
