Quick is this mastitis and do I need to see a GP today?

Hi... this morning I expressed milk as normal from right side and noticed reduced amount produced and breast hard and lumpy after. Been feeling nauseous all day - now started to feel tired and a bit achy, with a bit of a headache.
Feeding a bit painful on that side yesterday.
No sign of a temperature - or heat in the lumpy area.
Have a GP appt at 5.30 but only want to go if required as am working and obviously only want antibiotics if needed.
Have had some blocked duct type pain recently (on other side) which cleared up quite quickly - this feels more throbbing type pain.
What do you think?

Have you tried ibuprofen for the swelling?

No I haven't .. Can I take it while BF?
I just panicked thinking advice was to get to doctor for antibiotics asap before it sets in ?

Yes you can take it while bf. See if the link from truth sweet helps, but do go to dr if you're worried. Best to clear it up quickly. However, a good feed might help.

Sadly DD at nursery so have just pumped and will feed as soon as possible - think DH will pick her up and I will go to the GP as better to be safe than sorry.
Was over reacting as trying so hard to continue feeding now back at work - really dont want too many issues or will be harder to maintain support at work.
