I always used to freeze it again, provided I had brought it to the boil while cooking. Don't know if that's what you're supposed to do but ds3 was always fine!

I would have thought that if it's been brought to the boil and 'cooked' then it could be refrozen - same as cows milk. Although I don't know the official word on it!
