hi sue10, I can't help on the GM free formulas but I can tell you that I did Aptamil with all 4 of mine and found it excellent. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply, will def try the Aptamil. From the research i have done i dont think there is a gm free formula, as im unable to breast feed due to medications i take i just wanted to find the best formula i could and Aptamil has positive reviews so will try it. Lucky you having four children, this is my first after many mc's so i want to get everything just right.

sue, I'm sure you've done this already but just wondered if you'd checked with the BFN whether you are able to bf with the medications you are taking.

Only pg women aren't always given the correct information. A family friend was recently told by the hospital that she wasn't to bf with her medication but it simply wasn't true, lots of women with her condition and on her medication bf.

If you are after a GM free formula, I'm pretty sure that Hipp Organic First Infant Milk is GM free. Personally though I'd just choose the cheapest one that was most easily available. All formulas are pretty much the same.

I've been getting more GM aware and I use the HIP organic milk but have noticed that Hip organic food say they are GM Free but their milk doesn't so sadly I think because it contains soy it can't be gm free :( Good luck with your baby I hope it all goes well for you!!
