think i ate something dodgy yesterday and have the runs, will if affect BF baby?

think dp poisoned me yesterday with a bacon butty! maybe so i dont ask him again!! felt terrible in the night and have the runs but the worst is over and ive carried on feeding dd as normal, im ok to do this arent i? do stomach bugs and stuff affect baby through milk?

Also while im here should i avoid spicy food? would that upset babies tummy/bottom etc?

I had an upset tum while BF and DD was fine. Well, she threw up once, but then babies do on occasions and I'm pretty sure she didn't get the bug from me.

Make sure you stay hydrated though as baby will be taking fluid from you, as well as you losing it from other orrifices (sorry...).

I've never had a problem with spicy food affecting DD. Try it and see!

It's fine. Just look after yourself as bf is an additional demand on a poorly body.
