Switch to whole milk- gradual or overnight?

DD is nearly 12 mo & about to start nursery. She is BF but has had one bottle of formula at night for the last month. Want to switch to lunch & bedtime bottles of whole milk soon as she's had mixed reactions to formula (sleeps better but vile poos & occasional vomiting).

How do I do this? Can I just introduce it straight away in one go, or do I need to get her used to it gradually somehow?

Thanks!

I did it slowly just really to make sure there was no reaction.

This is probably a really stupid question but what does doing it slowly mean? An ounce or two to start & increasing it daily? Or mixing it with their regular milk at first? Sorry, have learnt asking stupid Qs is better than not asking!

No question is stupid Grin I gave a couple of ozs first and just increased it. I'm no expert just seemed a good idea!
