DS is BLW and up till this week he seemed to have dropped the lunch bottle in favour of the solid food. However, this week he has been a complete milk monster, not only has he picked up the lunch milk again, this morning he's taken almost 18 oz in the 3 hours since he got up at 5.30 and he had about 5 spoons of porridge and a gnaw on a banana too. Is there a growth spurt at 9mths? I know I should let him drop the milk when he's ready too but he's going to nursery in a months time and I'm a bit worried about his eating when he's there. I know they'll give him mill if he wants it but I'd really like to have at least one established solid meal.

If you've been giving milk first then food up til now, you could try swapping round and doing food first.
