Over the last few weeks I have been slowly transfering ds to mixed feeding, and we now have 3/4 bottles a day and a couple of b/f. Just before I started this, (at around 4 weeks) he had just started being a little bit sick after his breast feeds, it looked a bit like a cross between watery cottage cheese and watery clotted cream. He has continued this, but in the last week has developed a nasty cold (we've all had it baaaad!!!). Since then he has started being sick a lot more after each feed, and bottle feeds in particular, and it is the same as before only snotty and stringy too. We both seem to end up covered!!! My dh maintains that it is all the mucus in his tummy causing this (particularly as the hv suggested a rolled up towel under his moses basket at the head end to encourage him to swallow the mucus rather than it sit in his 'tubes', but I am worrying, convinced that his digestion has taken against feeding in general but the bottle in particular. I agonised for quite a while before introducing mixed feeding, and as you can imagine I am using this latest development as a stick to beat myself with!!! Any ideas as to whether it could be related to his cold?
