my BF 12 month old was down to a morning feed and a night time feed plus a bottle feed of cows milk in the day (I figured that would be ok at ths age since she was still havng two breastfeeds). The last week she has rejected the bottle totally during the day and has been asking for more feeds during the day (tugging at my clothes and just not settling until she has a feed).
I am 7 weeks pregnant but as far as I an tell the amount of milk etc hasnt changed much although at the moment the supply hasnt caught up to the increased demand i dont think so i get the feeling shes just comfort sucking a bit as well.

I was hoping to wean before the new baby was born although thats obviously a while off yet. Why could she be going back to wanting more breastfeeds? and if I just go with it does that mean there is no chance of weaning before the new baby arrives?
