Kicking baby driving me nuts!

Hi,

Has anyone got any practical tips for stopping a baby kicking while they're feeding? My 4mo is kicking like she's doing the breaststroke during feeds and it HURTS!

Thanks!

:)
I kept the legs. Sometimes feeding lying down is easier too - they can kick the bed if they can

Have you tried distracting her with something like a breastfeeding necklace?

niceday Lying down does work. She's not nearly so kicky, but I would look a bit of a wally lying down in Starbucks Grin

Jilted I have tried, but it's too effective if anything! She just stops feeding altogether to look at it, then remembers what she's doing, rolls back to the boob and recommences kicking. Aargh!

I think sometimes it's connected with doing a poo or farting. More pleasantness during a feed. Hmm
