you can get a top apparently with a little bit of wire in it so I can see down and see the baby feeding but no one see's waht i'm doing?

any idea on the name of it? am determined to feed in public this time after not having the confidence with DS.

Like a cover/apron? Bebe au lait is one brand.

oh yes, would you put it on for feeding only then? that looks good - does it cover the baby's head/face against it or give them some space?

I've never seen one in use, but I think it goes round your neck and covers you and the baby down to your lap, and the wiring round the top means you can look down at the baby to latch them on.

If you google 'hooter hider' youll get the idea. I bought one after watching a friend use gets Smile

Bebe au Lait is the one I had, borrowed from a friend - I thought it was great as it gives the baby quite a bit of space and you can see them easily. I used it early on when I was still getting to grips with getting dd to latch on.

I was recently very impressed with a home-made one, made with just some cloth and the underwire from an old bra.

thanks girls i'll look at the bebe ones they have an offer on atm as well. I'm determined this time around to be more confident when out & not have to rush home after an hour to feed the baby.
