ive wiped her nose as clean as I can, anything else I can do to help?
She's almost 9 months & won't let me help latch or anything.

Saline nose drops from the chemist if you can get there. They help a lot

Won't get a chemist til tomorrow. Nothing open now.
She's been ok til this feed but I think it's cos she usually settles down for a good cuddle now.

Anecdotally, you can home make the solution...it's just salt and cooled boiled water.

You can also put a drop or two of breastmilk in each side of baby's nose. Just hand express first - don't attempt to take aim!

She's settled down a bit now, we've beenout to pick up dd2 & I think it's helped her calm down

Dd used to get this a lot. Being upright helps. I found that the saline helped thin the nasal mucus (yum) and it would drain out leaving her nose clear.

I was sitting her up to feed but she's getting a bit big on me to reach my chest!

She's settled for now anyway. I'm going to get a rest too as we've had a couple of rough nights & I've got her cold too

Hope she and you have a good night's sleep

She was ok once she got down. Fed again at 10 then slept til 6:30 which is good for her!

Thats good then Harriet. We had this with DD too, she was later diagnosed with Hayfever. Steam and a nasal aspirator worked for her.
