Should my periods have returned by now - only feeding twice a day?

DD is 9 months and down to a morning and night feed.

Absolutely no sign of my period returning at all. I thought it would be back once the night feeds stopped.

Have done a preg test (relatively) recently and negative.

Really don't think I am pg as was so sick last time and feel totally normal in myself.

Has anyone else had a long delay in their periods even though only feeding a little bit?

Mine have only just returned - had first one this week, and DS is a year old. He feeds varying amounts - sometimes just a couple a day, sometimes more if he's poorly or teething.

I'm not sure what the average is, tbh, I was assuming I was fairly normal, but maybe I'm not!
