How do you look after your boobs if you are BF?

I sleep in my normal nursing bra and use cloth breast pads. I often wake up damp but don't get around to changing until I've had a shower (up to an hour after I've woken up). I'm starting to worry I'm going ro get thrush in my nipples or under my boobs from wearing damp things next to my skin for so long.

So how do you take care of your boobs?

Are you in the early days? I found the overnight dampness cleared up very quickly.

Also I used to keep a few breastpads near my bed so I could change them as and when needed during the night.

I'm still doing it 9 months in & haven't got thrush yet.

Yes, DD2 is only 10 weeks. I don't remember leaking this much last time!

I suggest you wear breastpads with gel in over night to keep your bra and bed dry and change them when up for feeds. Thrush does grow in warm moist environments, but not everyone is prone to it. Apparently the plastic back on the throw aways isn't great, but works for me.

My DS is 19 weeks and I still get engorged and flood over night, as he seems to sleep a little more each night.
