At the weekend I found myself wandering around a classic car show breast feeding my 8 month old DD whilst carrying her in a sling.

This was my first attempt at feeding in a sling - definitely unplanned. It was very successful. It's amazing what necessity will force you to do!

Well done!!

Out of interest, What kind if sling do you have?

Caz10 · 09/06/2011 02:53

Ooh yes would love to know what kind!

snailoon · 09/06/2011 05:16

I did that all the time. It was great.

It's a Girasol woven wrap and I had DD in a front cross carry but quite low slung so her head was at the right height.

What kind of cars were there?

Nah, just kidding Grin I am still meaning to get the hang of feeding in a sling. This may be the excuse I need to get a woven wrap....

It is fab once you get the hang of it.

I still do it all the time with ds2 and really never stop to feed him when we are out and about, we just do it on the go.

He is expert at staying latched on during all sorts of stuff like playing on the see saw with ds1 Grin
