What's happened to my nipple??

Hi, hoping to find some advice...
Had to stop BF for 6 days to take a course of strong meds for a gum/wisdom tooth infection. Dealt with it, bottle fed and pumped and dumped in the hope of maintaining some supply. My 'good' boob is fine, I can now happily feed or express 5/6oz 3 times a day, I am now FF for the rest and am happy to do this (DS2is 6 months old and has taken to the bottle well)
But 'Bad' boob-always sluggish and not v productive has gone all weird...my nipple and areola is lumpy and swollen to the extent that the tip doesn't fit into the breast pump anymore! If I press on the lumps on the tip watery-looking milk drips out, but if I try to hand express I don't get more than 1oz. No real pain, just increased sensitivity.

What is this? Am I going to have a permanently deformed nipple? I don't remember having anything like this when I stopped BFing DS1, so any help would be appreciated
