Haven't lost any weight when I BF first 2 DCs, any chance I will for DC3?

From what I gather, the world is split between women who do lose a lot of weight when BF and the ones who don't.
I have the same body shape and metabolism as my mum and she has never been as skinny as when she BF so I had loads of hope.
But despite BF for 14 months for DD and 2 years for DS, I stayed huge.

So question is: is there anybody out there who did not lose weight by BF for their first DC(S) and who did for subsequent DC(S)?
I need hope.

Sorry to refute this - lost tons of weight BFing DS and gained weight feeding DD. Hmm

Mind you I think by DS I had figured out that you don't have to eat cake each time you feed a baby Blush

I want to be able to eat loads of cake and still lose weight. AIBU??? Is it too much to ask?

Well you might have to breastfeed on a treadmill then. Wink
