traumatic birth for mum and tot. Tot (obviously, doh!)not taking to boob for a few hours. Did they let her sleep it off? Nope. Did they shovel in formula? Yep. Was mum pumping? Yep. Was the colostrum saved for tot? Nope.

That's not the whole story, but tales like this make my boil

I had some fab midwives and nursery nurses at the Simpson who sweated blood helping me breastfeed. Some utter horrors too, mind you. Maybe it's got worse, which seems a shame.

Tabitha..didn't work in that acute side of the NHS
(I'm not a doctor or nurse)but I would assume that any letter of complaint is taken seriously.

Arguably however,long waites at A&E are often avoidable.
Crap breastfeeding support on the other hand could be easily sorted out.
