Can I freeze expressed milk in bottles?

I have loads of bottles and hardly ever use them as DD rarely has a bottle. I have caps (the ones that seal the bottle, no teats in them) so can I safely put the bottle in the freezer? Was thinking ot'd be quicker and easier to defrost it already in the bottle.

Not all plastic can be frozen...can get brittle but there should be a symbol on the bottom if they are suitable...

freezer bags specific for breastmilk are usually recommended, though the Human Milk Bank send sterile bottles. So long as its sterile and as above, the plastic is suitable.
