son born on Tuesday via CS. latching on is fine im just exhausted!
This is my 3rd baby but last was 5 years ago and im older and generally less confident!
Came out of hospital yesterday and last night DS2 fed nearly every hour! im exhausted and he is still fussing. boobs are hot and hard and milk is defo in as he has been gulping and you can hear him full up.

I just wanted to know im doing ok really!

Yes you can!

The more he feeds now the sooner the supply/demand thing will settle down.
Hang in there - and remember, this phase won't last long.

Watch the hot boobs though just in case it's anything like mastitis - I'm sure it's not but be aware.

Drink loads, lie down as much as you can and keep telling yourself how clever you are to have made a gorgeous baby!

thanks seeker. just a crisis of confidence i think.

Trying to regulate my meds as well now im home which isnt making moving around easy! LOL laying down is a tricky one so i actually stopped on sofa last night so atleast DH will be well rested to deal with the other 3 menaces today (DSD is here too)!
Am sedning Dh out for beanbag today for my feet so i may get more rest tonight!

Be really really careful sleeping on the sofa won't you? make sure you're not going to fall asleep while you're sitting up feeding. Can dh have the sofa and you have the bed with the baby?

bed is too low i cannot get up and down. Baby is in moses basket next to sofa and I am propped up with pillows etc Its easier to semi lay on sofa with baby in basket and then i can get up alot easier too!
