how long for a small crack to heal?

I have a small crack (about 3 mm) under one nipple. I think its because ds top teeth are coming in and he has a blocked nose so is chomping on my nipples.

ds is 10 months but still doesn't eat a lot of solids. I'm still feeding him on both sides at night as cba expressing when co-sleeping. Otherwise daytime feeds I have been hand expressing from damaged side for two days, hoping this will give it time to heal.

When do you think I can try normal feedng again?

Ouch! I'm sure you're lathering on the Lansinoh other brands are available hehe as well as that has really helped the healing process when I've had a crater crack.

I guess a few days for it to feel okay to feed on again? I'm sure you will be able to feel whether it has healed enough for you to feed properly on if you try it every day or so.

try jelonet- you can get it from any pharmacy. worked wonders for me when lansinoh didn't

I really like kamillisan - you have to wipe it off before each feed but it worked wonders for my crater nipples! It healed it much better than lanisnoh and like Knocked up I jellonet (both at same time) which was just amazing - get it from any chemist.

Breast shells really help with healing as it allows the air to get to them. They saved my nipples in those early days. Boots sell them I think! It says to only wear them for 30 mins but sometimes I kept them in all day no problems.

Thanks everyone. Its a little better now so hopefully we'll be back to normal soon.

Unfortunately nearest chemist is 20 miles away but lansinoh left over from early days seems to be helping.
