How many milk feeds a day for 10 month old baby?

My DS is 10 months old and I breastfeed him 3 times a day: 7am, 3pm, then a dream feed at 11pm. How much milk does a 10 month old need? (He has solids 3 times a day, too.) I'm thinking about dropping his dream feed, but can he really go from 5pm till 7am without eating anything? I don't want to feed him just before bed, as can fall asleep without any milk and I don't want to associate food with sleep.

I'd feed him before his bath - so you can do feed, bath, bed. Did this with ds for a while so he got out of the habit of feeding to sleep. Actually now he doesn't tend to fall asleep on the breast at bedtime so we do bath, feed, brush teeth, story and he goes into his cot awake. He has his last feed about 7pm and then sleeps through til about 5-6am.

Hello DD is 9 months and does 7am, 9.30am, 12.30pm. 4pm and 6.30pm She will usually have a nightfeed which I am trying to drop! She also has 3 solid meals but lunch is always finger food so sometimes she eats very little and I don't give snacks yet, prefer these to be BF's. If your Ds sleeps through I'd leave the dram feed where it is!!

Hiya

dd is 10 months and has milk at 7am, 3pm and just before bed. However in the last month she has started taking less and less at the 3pm feed.
