Just got my period, does this mean my milk is stopping?

Hi d.d is ten months next week, she is down to two b.fs a day, early morning and just before bed although i still occasionally feed her during the night/day if she wakes or is a bit grouchy. I would like to continue the morning and eve feeds but got my first period today since the pregnancy, not sure what this means but does it mean that my milk will stop soon? Ta.

no, your milk won't stop, although you may find your supply dips around the time you get your period

sorry, just noticed the other thread on bf and periods. I guess that means I will still have milk?!

I've been having periods since dd was 3 months and she is 2 in May :).
My dd gets a little fussy around the time of my period and I get sore nipples but apart from that she's fine.
