What position do you feed your baby in while in public?

Today I was in the park with dd1, dp and dd2 and for the first time it occurred to me, to feed dd2 laying down ( we were on a picnic rug )
I just popped a muslin to cover my tummy and boobage and it worked well

I wish I had thought of this sooner as it really hurts my lower back and shoulders when feeding in the park ( without back support)

Glad you found a way to feed comfortably whilst out.

I have fed laying down in public before but in a massive basket swing at a children's farm's playground It was lovely but I nearly fell asleep! Very quiet and out of the way swing though (right t the top of the playground about 1/2 a mile from the entrance). A fond memory for me.

I almost fed 8 month old ds lying down in the park the other day but chickened out - it was pretty busy and I thought it might be a bit much for people
