Worried, BF 8 month old dropped nearly all milk feeds during the day...unusual?

As per the title really, we started baby led weaning with DD at 6 months and she is doing brilliantly...loves her food.

But she has dropped her breastfeeds right off. She never refuses if I offer, but then she never asks any more either! She feeds a couple of times during the night, on waking, perhaps once in the afternoon and then at bedtime.

Is this unusual and should I be worried? I haven't had her weighed in a month, but she is still a happy little chubba.

I reckon that sounds alright NinkyNonker. When you tot it all up that's about 4-5 feeds isn't it.

My DS went through a stage where he wouldn't ask for it but would pounce when I got my boob out and offered him some.

Happy little chubba sounds just fine. Smile

DS (7.5m) doesn't really demand in they day any more either, I do offer though as I'd rather he fed in the day than the night! In fact I was about to start a thread asking what older babies feeding cues are as I wasn't sure if I was missing them or if they weren't there.
