Me throwing up, DS breastfeeding - just carry on as normal?

The title says it all really! I've got a tummy bug and am throwing up. Is it ok to just carry on breastfeeding DS through it? Not that I'm sure what else I'd do as he's never had a bottle...

Thank god tomorrow is his big sister's nursery day!

Yes, it's fine. He will get the antibodies you are creating from your milk. Make sure you keep drinking/sipping lots of fluids - suck ice cubes if nothing else.

This is the advice I was given by NHS Direct.

i had the same in december it was horrible altho on the plus side i did lose a bit of baby weight :) u can keep bfing but be extra careful about keeping yr fluids up. And get as much rest as is possible with two dcs as then youll fight it quicker
