Downsides of mostly feeding from just one breast?

Hi all, I was going to ask if I was the only one who is mostly feeding from one breast, but this recent thread tells me I'm not the only one... so my question now is, what are the downsides / things to watch out for? I do feed DD from the less-favoured (right) side occasionally and I keep an eye out for engorgement on that side. Mostly the downside I can see is that my left boob is bigger than my right one at the moment, which I can live with! I can think of myself as an Amazon .

I think just size. I fed mostly from one side in the first few weeks as I found holding her on that side easier and that was also my favoured side in bed (now realise this was a mistake!). Despite feeding evenly from about week 2 or 3 (and still feeding on that side throughout, just not as often at first), I'm still lopsided and can't seem to even up.

Well, my DD is 7 months old now and I've been feeding her mostly from the favoured side for, er, a few months? Not in the first few months of her life but since Christmas or so, perhaps.

If size is the main thing then I don't mind too much - though I'd like it to go back to normal once I stop BFing. And I'll try to do better next time if we have another DC!

Have also been mostly feeding from the left for months -haven't noticed any problems, though think there's definitely less milk coming out of the right side now as DD mostly can't be bothered with it even when I offer - she seems to think the flow's too slow to be wasting her time with! (this is obviously projection!).
