how many ml should a 5 mo take for the 11pm bottle?

DS is entirely breastfed and he has at last worked out how to suck from a bottle (Nuk rules!).
Can anyone tell me what is the average intake of a baby that age for the "mummy gets her nights back (hopefully)" bottle?

Thanks all!

Hi Connyrabbit My DS was having a 11pm bottle until 4 months when he started going through the night so he was a month younger than your DS but he would have about 5oz, but he was having formula.

Hope you get your nights back!

If I give my 4mo DD a bottle I use cartons, so that's 200ml, and she drinks it all. Doesn't make her sleep any longer though :)

Ah yes I forgot to mention, it would be to give him hungry baby formula.
Privet, you're right, and I'm not hoping for a miracle, but as at the moment I am being woken up and taken out of bed an average 5 times a night between him and his older brother who has nightmares, I'm just trying to put all chances on my side!

connyrabbit DS did still wake even with a dream feed but I found I was able to use other methods to settle him like shush pat or pick up put down. It took about a week but he soon settled into sleeping from 11 straight through. Then I weaned him off the dream feed. I also weaned him early as he was having 7 big bottles during the day and once he was on the solids he wasn't too bothered by night feeds.

Got to be worth a shot, let me know if it works!

I think when I was doing a formula dreamfeed at that age ds would have 150-200ml.

DD is bang on 50th centile and was taking 140 - 210 ml for her 11.30 pm feed at 5 months. Now we have started weaning, this volume has tended to be more like 100 - 150 ml.
