Sterilising expressing equipment

DS2 is nearly 13 months old and I've just started back at work. I'm going to be away from him for up to 24 hours a time a couple of days a month from hereon.

So, I need to start expressing when we are apart to make sure I don't get mastitis.

Just wondered (and I don't think I do but wanted to check), whether I need to sterilise the expressing equipment now? I know it is normally 12 months for bottles and assuming the same, but just wondered really.

Have googled, but everywhere says 12 months for bottles.

Cheers!

Nope. A hot soapy wash and air drying is supposed to be good enough with ebm at any age.

Japhrimel is right.
