breastfed baby onto bottle

hello...
my six month old has been breast fed exclusively and has never really taken to the bottle. as she is teething, i feel a bit like a chew toy, and would very much like her to take to the bottle. this has proved tricky as she now just chews on the teat and can't get on with the sucking...any ideas would be very welcome..thanks a million :) d.

I can empathise, but I can't help unfortunately. I failed to get DH to drink from a bottle. I tried various cups to no avail. I gave up in the end and when she was 12 months I stopped BF and then she decided to drink milk from a cup.

You could try one of these cups. The valve opens with pressure from the baby's lips so it might work.

...I don't think they really need to suck to hard with these.
