Can mini pill cause someone who's NOT pregnant to produce milk??

My friend has asked my advice but I'm stumped! She says she had a brief spell on the mini pill and is now awaiting a late period. One of her nipples was a bit damp and she thinks it was milk coming out. She doesn't think she's pregnant or at least it would be very early days if she was.

Can mini pill cause this? I was thinking, even if she had fallen pg it would be too early for milk to be produced anyway? Can anyone advise?

It's hormones that make you produce milk and I know you can lactate by taking certain drugs even if you've never been pg. But I don't know if the mini pill would cause this. You can leack realy earling into being pg I did so that is a possiblity.

If she isn't pg I get it checked out by the GP though as nipple discharge can be a sign of other problem.

Thanks, I thought that myself. I
I told her maybe small chance of pg but if not to see gp. Tried to have a look on the Internet but info was vague and basically said that several things can cause this including contraceptives...
