Hi, my dd is almost 12 months old, eats a fairly decent varied diet and is breastfed. Some days she only feeds morning and night other days she will feed once or twice in the day too. She sleeps through the night now.

8 weeks ago my dd weighed 8.44kilos. Yesterday she weighed 8.58kilos. This seems such a small gain, should I be worried? My dd is very active, always crawling or cruising. She is pretty tall too.

Started to worry that she isn't getting enough solids or breastmilk after her weight was checked yesterday, however, we always feed her until she tells us she had had enough. Lots of wet and dirty nappies too.

Any advice would be appreciated.

what did the hv say when she was weighed. as they get older n more active any gain is good. i felt the same after having dd weighed but hv was happy she was gaining as she should. if shes happy n healthy n eating when she should i wouldnt worry too much. but i guess you could try introducing more snacks in the day or make sure she does drink milk in the day too.
