Anyone use tommee tippee insulated carriers?

I know there has been a lot of threads on how to make up and store bottles, but please bear with me on this :)

This may be a stupid question Blush but if you make up a bottle, then put it in this carrier, it apparently keeps it warm for 4 hours. Now I would have thought that after a while (say 2 hours) the bottle wouldn't be hot enough so potentially harmful bacteria could be breeding in the milk?

Hope I've explained that well. Am not using the carrier at the moment, might contact TT to ask too?

I've use the carriers all the time but will only put a hot feed in if am going to use within 2 hours. Otherwise i will put a cooled feed in as the thermal case keeps things cool too.
But if am out and about all day i tend to measure put formula in the milk dispensers which sit inside the bottle and carry around a thermos flask of boiling water ( have a tommee tippee one). The water in this stays hot enough for at least 6 hours in my experience.

Hth.

ssame as lainey

if i know i'm going to be using the feed within two hours i'll put in in the carrier a bit hotter than normal. they aren't the best at keeping things warm tbh.

Aha, thanks lainey and mumatron, you have confirmed what I was thinking, I'll do the same and take hot feed but use within 2 hours. I usually take cartons but wanted to try using the carrier.

Anyway thank you for responding :)
