Hi,
I've been expressing milk with the intention of my partner feeding my 4 week old baby by bottle before bed, only my baby doesn't like the bottle, just keeps gagging. Do i keep trying every few days untill she's ready to accept or persevere until she gets used to it, or is it the type of bottle i'm using (tommy tippee closer to nature)??

is it you who is trying? Some babies will happily take the bottle from someone else but not if mum is around, so it might be worth getting your partner to try while you are out of the room, or out of the house. Also it's best to try when they're not starving or tired. I would keep trying, but don't let it get to a battle as that will do no one any good.

We have used the TT bottles with no problem, but it might be worth trying another kind if you get nowhere with them.

She's so ickle still. Don't worry about it, maybe try again in a week and see what happens.
