Hello,

My local health food shop is stocking Nanny goat formula.
westons.com/acatalog/Online-Catalogue-NAN30B6.html#aNAN30B6

Now am I right in thinking this is not licensed in Europe for infant consumption? They are carrying 2 types one which seems to be a generic goats formula, whilst it does not specifically mention infants or babies they have put it in the baby food section. Then they have something which is labelled as follow on milk - from 12 months to 3 years next to it. It is alarming in itself that they have a product which seems it may or may not be for babies in the baby food section. Also neither of the products has the usual UK warnings of 'breastfeeding is best for your baby etc etc.

Should I let the shop manager know/complain? .

Tell the shop owner and also inform local trading standards - however, if it does not mention on the pack it is for infants then it is prob within the law. The shop should deffo not position is as if it is for babies, though.

Thanks Tiktok, that's what I thought, it is rather negligent of them to position it as if it was for babies.
