Nutritional facts about breast milk

I've been looking on kellymom for the nutritional facts about breast milk past the first year but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know the link? My mum is worried that dd, nearly one, isn't getting enough calcium and has mentioned comments about follow on milk, so I want some info to show her that breast milk is giving her everything she needs ( in addition to a balanced solids diet).

Is this what you are looking for?

You could also quote that WHO recommends breastfeeding for at least two years.

crikey beat me to it.

Ignore the follow on milk. The NHS leaflets even tell you it is not needed.

Also remember that calcium in cows milk is less readily absorbed and it is a marketing myth that children need dairy to grow up well.

Carry on BF and enjoy
