Hi there, just thought I'd see if there is anyone else out there breastfeeding a newborn and dealing with the boredom of daytime tv?? I am learning to type one-handed and also subjected to hours of property programmes and antiques shows! Have just ordered a dvd boxset of ally mcbeal for old times sake! DD is 31/2 weeks old and taking her time..How long does this bit last??

Radio 4 is your friend!

By 6 weeks your supply should be established and by 3 months I found ds was much much quicker. More time was spent not feeding, than spent feeding IYSWIM.

thanks for the encouragement Albrecht! It;s good to know they get more efficient! x

Yup!!

DS is 5 weeks and still pretty much attached to the ol' breast. Slight improvement though, so take heart, it does get better!

4od have lots of archived series on at the moment: Black Books, Green Wing etc, if that's your kind of thing?

theresapotatoundermysink · 18/03/2011 17:54

Enjoy!

I have the same problem only I have a toddler in tow so my TV hell is CBeebies....beats dealing with the tantrums tho.

This is also why I'm hooked on Mumsnet Grin

Ask around your friends and borrow some films or series boxsets. Or rent series boxsets from Blockbuster, I think it's about £6 a week.

OMG - and to think some of you manage it with a SECOND child in tow!! Parents with more than one are amazing people...

Will check out what's on 4od.
